Future Colors of America formed in 2006 when San Francisco based Aiyana Udesen introduced her boyfriend and artist, Matt Furie, to her long time friend and also a San Francisco Art Institute alumnus, Albert Reyes (Los Angeles). Many hours were spent entertaining each other through visual drawing jokes. Many top-secret drawing techniques were traded. Many mysteries were solved/ created and, to keep the fun rolling, the trio began mailing back and forth unfinished drawings 🐾🚀
